With all the effort the faithful organizers have put into the 2016 Duncannon Appalachian Trail Community Festival you would think they're expecting a million visitors. One thing is certain: everyone who attends will have a good time. There really is something for everyone.

The Appalachian Trail Community of Duncannon, PA, opens its arms and heart to hikers -- and to everyone at this annual, family-friendly festival.

The 2016 Duncannon Appalachian Trail Festival kicks off at 10 AM on Saturday, June 18th, with hikes, exhibits, workshops, food, arts & crafts and real-live hippies and hikers!

There's no charge to attend. You'll hear priceless music, meet precious people and learn valuable information about the Appalachian Trail and how to hike it safely. Kids can make their own crafts and march in the annual parade while older folks can hear "tales from the Trail" from AT hikers.

Everyone gets a free raffle ticket for great stuff donated by local merchants. Feast on BBQ chicken prepared by the Duncannon Fire Company or nibble on tasty goodies provided by other vendors.
