All roads might not lead to Troutville, Virginia, but the Appalachian Trail does. What else really matters?
The weekend of June 6-8, 2014, is one of the best times to visit Troutville because that's when the people in this certified hiker-friendly town go absolutely nuts for thru-hikers.
Seriously, it's enough to wreck your life. If you attend Troutville Trail Days, you'll judge all subsequent professions of love and/or devotion to the welcome you'll get at Troutville Trail Days.
Please Note: Do not settle for bogus towns named "Troutville" in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Only Troutville, Virginia, represents true Southern chivalry, manners and a warm welcome to thru-hikers. Thank you.
A few storms are expected in the vicinity of Troutville on Wednesday and Thursday, June 5 & 6, 2014, but the weather man says the weekend will have wonderful weather for Trail Days!
