AT Founder's Bridge Festival in Bryson City, NC

Plan to be in Bryson City, NC the weekend of April 6th 2012 for the AT Founder's Bridge Festival.

Join the celebration honoring America's most loved footpath: the 2,181 mile-long Appalachian Trail.

Day hikers, long distance warriors, and outdoor enthusiasts are all welcome to share their passion with other lovers of the AT. Expect live music, gear representatives and skill expos, along with the chance to win product giveaways and door prizes.

Saturday morning, put on some long pants, closed-toe shoes and work gloves and spend time with dedicated volunteers from local hiking clubs on a real-live AT trail maintenance work trip. Please bring water, snacks, your best attitude and a few good stories. There isn't a better way to show gratitude for the AT than to help keep it in good condition.
