Trailfest 2012 in Hot Springs, NC

"Get outside!" isn't only something parents yell at their children on nice days, it's for us too. Especially on the weekend of April 20th in Hot Springs, NC (where the Appalachian Trail goes right through town).

Hikers are the true heroes of Trailfest, but bicyclists, skateboarders, hoola-hoopers, river rafters, soccer players and Yoga-ers will feel right at home.

Trailfest is a free weekend long, family event that begins with an inexpensive, delicious, cheap, tasty, affordable spaghetti dinner ... with Saturday getting off to a start with pancakes!

Trailfest is the most fun you can have outside ... with games, crafts and a (round-trip) hike to Lover's Leap.

Get outside! Get to Trailfest 2012!
