The first weekend in March, Amicalola State Park in Dawsonville is holding a special Appalachian Trail Celebration & Backpacking Clinic.

Meet unique personalities and hear about Appalachian Trail adventures. Enjoy demonstrations and workshops by professionals and retailers on an assortment of backpacking gear. Take part in discussions on trip preparation.

Saturday, March 3 from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Sunday, March 4 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
